This is a very heavily marked bird
compared to any other 1st year barabensis
that I've seen or seen pictures of. The pale barred greater coverts are
also not the usual pattern (see first picture for comparison with more
typical bird). However, I am not sure what else it could be but a
well-marked Caspian or Steppe gull - possibly a Heuglin's? |
