This bird had a much darker tail than another
bird of the same age seen that day. It also seems to have a
bit darker wing, with the inner primaries darker and the secondaries not
showing a barred pattern. Could it be a form other than cachinnans?
In addition to around 15-20 Steppe Gulls present on the river that day,
there was also an adult Heuglin's Gull. |
